The grass is uncovered it is 35 degrees out and there was snow and ice on the pavement everywhere this morning. That makes no sense!

Back in grade school here in Texas school would be cancelled for a light dusting. Everything would be melted by 12 and we got the day off. Yet everyone was slipping and sliding all over the roads. When it snows/ices over everyone forgets how to drive. Then again most don't know how to drive in the first place.
Except for that one week where we had a really bad ice storm. Ice up to a few inches. It kept unfreezing and refreezing everyday that week. It was a nice week off.
